Chelsea pensioners are retired British Army veterans residing at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London.
Founded in 1692 by King Charles II for soldiers "broken by age or war". Over 300 veterans, aged 65 and older, live in this community, wearing iconic scarlet coats and contributing to the institutes traditions.
